On its 2007 sophomore outing, THIS IS FOREVER, She Wants Revenge doles out more gloomy, keyboard-heavy tracks, still staunchly rooted in 1980s synth-pop. While the Joy Division/Depeche Mode influences are still apparent, the Los Angeles-based duo of Justin Warfield and Adam 12 also draw on the Sisters of Mercy and early Simple Minds as inspiration, particularly on the ominous “Written in Blood.”From CDUniverse.com
