The Last Shadow Puppet - The Age of Understatement

Alex Turner et Miles Kane, respectivement leaders d’Arctic Monkeys et de The Rascals, ont fondé ensemble le groupe The Last Shadow Puppet. Leur 1er album s’intitulera “The Age of Understatement” et sortira au mois d’avril. Ils devraient partir en tournée ensemble dans la foulée.
Pas d’inquiétude pour les très nombreux fans d’Arctic Monkeys et ceux (un peu moins nombreux) de The Rascals, il s’agit bien d’un “side project” et ni l’un ni l’autre n’ont l’intention d’abandonner leur premier bébé.
Alex Turner dit d’ailleurs avoir récemment enregistré de nouveaux titres avec Arctic Monkeys sans doute destinés à un maxi, en attendant le prochain album.

É, é isso ai memo que cs tão lendo, blaksjhlajbrfjgjen, disquinho de 2007 desse sujeito que eu desconheço. Posto pelos motivos a seguir:
-Me foi indicado por fonte extremamente segura.
-Conterraneos de The Knife
-Eu não compreendo absolutamente uma silaba da lingua dos caras (Scanian!!@!), o que os permite concepção de mundo e de coisas inteiramente diferente da minha e, absolutamente, aumenta as chances da coisa ser autentica (pra mim)
-Porfim, porque o clip é muito legal. E lembra Digitalism. Ve aí:

Familjen is the alias of Swedish techno/electropop artist Johan T Karlsson.
Karlsson grew up in Hässleholm, Skåne (the same town as fellow electronica producers Andreas Tilliander and Stefan Thor (Folie)), but is currently based in Stockholm. Fourth artist album from Bpitch Control queen Ellen Allien, titled SOOL, is set for release in late May.
Like Allien’s previous longplayer Orchestra of Bubbles (Bpitch Control, 2006), SOOL is a collaborative effort, produced with Berlin experimentalist AGF this winter in Berlin. “Winters have always been a very creative time for me,” explains Allien. “In particular after the hot and crazy 2007 summer and autumn in Berlin.”
The album bucks the trend of Berliners shrinking away from the word “minimal”, described as “subtle, mysterious, and minimal” in the press notes. Allien explains: ”What does minimal mean for me? Minimal is just there. Shaping this kind of immediacy with my own hands—that was close to my heart.”
So what is a ‘SOOL’ then? Bit of an odd title, isn’t it? “SOOL is a phantasm, a creation, which reflects the album’s atmosphere, and also my person. I am me but I am also what you make of me, what you do with me and what I do with you. And, SOOL is curiosity, space and architecture. Sketches, drawing, adhering.”

The first release on Crème Organization achieved cult-status. A follow up on Viewlexx defined his status of disco entrepeneur and the album Traveller made sure his footprints are there forever. In his sideprojects such as 8Bit Rockers and with Pauli Jylhankangas as Putsch ‘79 they delivered. Bangkok Impact improved the 2nd italodisco generation. A hint of deephouse is available and Liuski is not afraid to take risks within the framework.Silently yet not quiet he fuels many needs.

Mais um vindo de BH, mais precisamente da extinta e ressucitada MP5, antiga Pulp (inclusive o set de 40min seguidos postado vem de cd que leva o nome da boate). Bom som, não sei muito bem descreve-lo, pois falta um pouco de conhecimento a mim quando se fala de música eletrônica, mas som é minimal, disso eu sei…….
